All rights and obligations arising from the supplier-subscriber relationship are governed by:
1) in the case of the final consumer, the Civil Code (No. 40/1964 Coll., as amended) and the Consumer Protection Act (No. 634/1992 Coll., as amended).
2) in the case of a buyer who purchases products for the purpose of his business, the Commercial Code, No. 513/1991 Coll., as amended.
The PRICES quoted for each title are the recommended retail prices incl. When ordering and delivering to retailers, businesses or even the final customer, a discount or possible price reduction can be negotiated. We normally provide a 30% discount for bookstore sales, LIBRARIES, SCHOOLS and INSTITUTIONS for larger numbers of books ordered (items in the "aftermarket/new" category are not eligible for this discount).
Upon receipt of the item, ownership of the purchased item passes to the buyer.
Any COMPLAINT must be made in writing, by letter or email, and must include the date of the order or shipment, or its number, and a description of the defects found. The Seller shall assess the complaint and notify the Buyer of its settlement without undue delay, but no later than 30 days from the date of its submission, unless otherwise agreed with the Buyer. The handling of complaints is governed by the Civil Code and Act 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection.
Please include a copy of the stub from the COD or parcel slip in the return parcel.
Shipping is not included in the value of the item. Unless otherwise stated, the price is calculated according to the Czech Post tariff.
